The seeker reaches the destination faster if he is sincere and serious in his quest for truth.+

You are being conditioned by the religious myth which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.

Sage Sankara clearly says:~ neither studying philosophy nor by worship as many gods nor observe ceremonies nor by singing devotional hymns nor by uttering mantra nor by mastering the scriptures liberation comes without realizing the Oneness.

God in truth is not based on your inherited blind faith or belief.  Religions are based on personal God whereas Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). God is above all needs and desires. God is always the Witnessing Subject. God can never become an object as God is beyond the reach of the senses. God is non-dual, one without a second. God has no other beside it. God is destitute of difference, either external or internal. God cannot be described because description implies a distinction. God cannot be distinguished from any other than God. In God, there is no distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of God, and not just God attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Remember:~

People who go round and round in search of truth still have to walk around the mountains and face other difficulties. Seekers who come to the conclusion that the outer part is inadequate and useless for finding the truth, which they are seeking for. And they will take up the Atmic path. Atmic path is the inner path or mental path.

The Atmic path takes the seeker straight to the source and is not obstructed by any obstacles on their inner journey
The seeker reaches the destination faster if he is sincere and serious in his quest for truth.
Upanishad says: ~ The human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge and they indicate that belief in the personal Gods, yoga scriptures, worship, and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge, then why anyone should indulge in it.
Religion, belief in personal God, and scriptures are a great obstacle to Self-realization because they are based on false Self. The seeker of truth has to search for the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper Self-search and assimilate and realize it.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC Neither sacred baths nor any amount of charity nor even Hundreds of pranayamas* can give us the knowledge about our own Self. The firm realization of the nature of the Self is seen to proceed from inquiry along the lines of the salutary advice of the wise. (13)
All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom. Without realizing “What is the truth it is impossible to realize “What is untruth?” Without realizing what is truth and what is untruth it is impossible to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seeker must know with full and firm conviction what truth is.
That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ ‘Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you yourself judge to be true.
Advaitic Wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything (mind or physical existence) is the consciousness. The freedom (ultimate truth) is always there yet one does not know it. But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the Soul, the Self, are quite near to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Yoga Vasistha says:~Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
Deeper thinking and Soulcentric reasoning help the seeker to unfold the truth which is hidden within the form, time, and space.
Buddha: - There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way. And not starting.: ~

Sage Sankara’s Brahman or God in truth is impersonal. Worshiping personal Gods is meant for the orthodox people who are ignorant and refuse to accept the truth.+

If people have believed religious propagated myth thing over thousands of years, the length of time does not prove it true.

You are being conditioned by the religious myth which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.

The religion blocks one from realizing God in truth because religion is based on myth whereas Spirituality is based on the truth.

Spirituality is nothing to do with religion. Spirituality is based on the Spirit, the real God whereas religion is based on the false self within the false experience.

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.

Sage Sankara’s  Brahman or God in truth is impersonal. Worshipping personal Gods is meant for the orthodox people who are ignorant and refuse to accept the truth.

Sage Sankara clearly says:~ Neither studying philosophy nor by worship as many gods nor observe ceremonies nor by singing devotional hymns nor by uttering mantra nor by mastering the sciptures liberation comes without realizing the Oneness.

Sat-Chit-Ananda constituted the very essence or Svarupa of God, and not just God attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Remember:~

Bhagavad Gita itself says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and the material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self.   In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

The Vedas confirms God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the  Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshipped, whereas the God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.

Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~  “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~  That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived-That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (8) Chapter I:~  That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Even in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in  the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

Thus, it clearly indicates the God is without the form and attributes and ever free.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare that, “God is present in  the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara's Advaitic Gnana cannot be transmitted neither from outside nor from another person.+

The path of wisdom is not the religious and yogic path.   Guru is not required in the path of wisdom.

Realize the ‘Self’ is not you. Do not struggle by practicing this and that to know the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is causeless.

Consciousness is within the world in which you exist but it is without the world in which you exist. Consciousness can remain with or without the world in which you exist.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara's Advaitic Gnana cannot be transmitted neither from outside nor from another person. Guru of everyone is only the Soul the Self that is always revealing on its own.

The grace of the Guru is only that Self-awareness that is the nature of the Soul. It is the consciousness by which he is unceasingly revealing its existence. This revelation is always going on naturally in every serious seeker."

Sage Sankara's Advaitic Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person. It can be realised by the seeker on his own if the seeker is receptive and serious in quest of truth.

Someone posing as a Gnani is not a Gnani. If someone poses himself as a direct disciple of some guru cannot be a Gnani. Those who pose themselves as a Gnanis are not Gnanis. A Gnani never poses himself as a Guru, a swami, a sadhu or a yogi or some Guru’s disciple.

I help those serious seekers who individually who are ready drop all their accumulated knowledge and start afresh.

As per the inner direction, I do not call myself as a Guru. Whatever revealed through

Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The one who says he is enlightened is not a Gnani. The ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. How can you and the world in which you exist remain when the ‘Self’ gets enlightenment? Only the Soul the innermost ‘Self ‘remains in its own awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion.

Select Works of Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad: ~ “Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

Manduka Upanishad:~ It is very difficult to find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the religious robe has anything to do with him.

Thus, that who identifies themselves as a swami, a Guru or a yogi is not a Gnani. A Gnani never identifies himself as a swami, Guru, pundit or yogi. The Swami, Guru, pundit or the yogi belongs to the religious or the yogic path not to the path of wisdom.

That is why Sage Sankara's commentary:~ Page 489: "The knower of Brahman (Gnani) wears no signs.

Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

On page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior." When the knower of Brahman wears no signs ~ it means he does not identify himself as a Guru.

Ashtavakra Samhita: - "The man of knowledge, though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. Know the ‘Self’ not ‘you’, and what is hidden beyond the form, time and space will be disclosed to you.

The feat of a Guru, touching people and thus putting them into mystic states is purely a physical or at best a psychological one; based on the power of suggestions it has nothing to do with epistemology, with the question of truth. The truth is not physical because the ultimate truth is the Soul or the Spirit. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth cannot be known by intuition but it can be grasped through Soulcentric reasoning.+

Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.

There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is need highlight how they become an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Swami Vivekananda said: ~   “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman   has already been known.

A Guru is needed in religious and the yogic path.  There is no need of a Guru in to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Remember:~

There is no need of a Guru, to know you, your Guru, and the world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Knowledge of that single stuff is the self-knowledge of Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.

There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to realizing the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why you indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why you indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge rituals, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge yoga, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says:~ the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Remember:~

Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought.

ZEN Satori is not highest Advaitic or non-dualistic Gnana because it comes as flashes, it does not depend on seeing the world, and does not depend upon mental sharpness so much as intuition. Zen Buddhists are only mystics--they do not offer proof. How is their main method different from that of Christian mystics, Hindu mystics, all of whom do not seek to prove by reason, but by "I know," intuition?

Zen is quite alright in mentioning non-duality: it is the nearest to true Advaita, but nevertheless, it is still inferior because it fails to prove non-duality, it illogically gives koan exercises as a means of attaining That which is beyond attainment, because always here, and it talks of insight or intuition to see Reality when sight involves a second thing, duality.

Zen gives a high important place to meditation practice. The truth is that Zen advocates the necessity of meditation for those of its adherents who cannot grasp the absolute truth.

ZEN is also on this lower stage of Yoga because it depends on flashes of Intuition gained by meditation, not by reasoning.

The ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth cannot be known by intuition but it can be grasped through Soulcentric reasoning. There is a need to realize first the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the formless Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Soulcentric reasoning clears all the clouds and confusion starts clearing on its own and finally you will have no confusion left to say the dualistic illusion as a whole is the Soul (Spirit or consciousness).

One knows everything within the waking experience is consciousness because the waking experience itself is mere an illusion created out of the consciousness. The physical apparatus is absent in deep sleep, so one cannot know anything by intuition because there is no duality in deep sleep. This proves that the duality is present only in waking or dream. And also, it proves that if there be such a faculty as intuition it must be limited to the physical Self within the physical existence.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness-consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theater, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

What is the Soul? What is consciousness? What is awareness? They all are one in essence.+

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist into consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. If everything is consciousness then how can anything exist which is not consciousness?

When the conviction about the consciousness becomes firm then everything falls into the right slot.

What is the Soul? What is consciousness? What is awareness? They all are one in essence.
The universe is present only in waking experience. The waking experience is present only when the mind is present and the mind is present only when the ‘I’ is present.
The universe or the waking experience or the mind (I) are one and the same thing. This truth has to be assimilated first.
Mentally reduce the universe into the waking experience and waking into mind (I) and the mind into consciousness by realizing the mind or universe or the waking is noting but merely an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Cross the domain of the ‘I’ and enter the kingdom of the Advaitic heaven.+

Cross the  domain of the ‘I’ and enter the kingdom of the Advaitic heaven.

You are not God. The Soul the innermost Self is God.  It is not correct to say God or I am Brahman. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? only Brahman or God remains, not I.  From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the ‘I’ is an illusion, which appears and disappears.

Bhagvad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The form, time, and space are connected to the ‘I’.

The experience of the birth, life, death and world is connected to the ‘I’.

The waking experience is connected to the ‘I’

The dream is connected to the ‘I’

The universe in which you exist is connected to the ‘I.

The mind is connected to the ‘I’

The Self is not the ‘I’.

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The ‘I-LESS Soul is permanent because it is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Remember:~

Why are you struggling to find out who you are? You will never find the answer if you get stuck to the ‘I’. Find out ‘what is this ‘I’, which appears and disappears. What is that is aware of the coming and going of the ‘I’?

Without realizing ‘What is this ‘I’? you will never be able to realize the mystery of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the most intoxicating stuff. Those who use the word ‘I’ for the ‘Self ‘will never be able to cross the threshold of the dualistic illusion.

The ‘I’ based teachings will not transport the seeker to the ultimate end of understanding.

The ‘I’ is the cage for the Soul. ‘I’ is the cause of the ignorance. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only weapon to get rid of the ignorance.

The ‘I’ based teachings will not transport the seeker to the ultimate end of understanding. Perfect understanding of ‘what is this ‘I’ leads to the realization of the truth beyond the form, time, and space.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say 'I'," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
