Until and unless the mystery of the universe is not solved Buddhists will not find the answer for their reincarnation and rebirth ideas.+

Buddhist do not believe in the existence of the Athma or Soul. Buddhists talked about transmigration without Athma or  Soul. Without Athma how anything can exist.

The birth, rebirth, or reincarnation are happening within the illusory universe or Maya. Until and unless the mystery of the universe is not solved Buddhists will not find the answer for their reincarnation and rebirth ideas.

Buddhists and Hindus are more concerned with preserving their inherited traditions and culture rather than the truth. Buddhists and Hindus are trying to find the truth within the framework of their religion.

Dali Lama: ~ “If the scientific analysis were conclusively to demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the findings of science and abandon those claims.

H. H Dalai Lama was right in saying if the scientific analysis were conclusively to demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the findings of science and abandon those claims. it also proves his greatness and maturity how much importance he gives to the truth.

Remember:~

It is quite true that Bhagavan Buddha constantly taught that man should seek release from transmigratory existence, but we must remember however that what the sage knows is known only to himself in its fullness and that he gives out to the public only so much as they could grasp and no more.

Bhagavan Buddha was charismatic, hypnotic. People were impressed by him. But the interpretation of Buddha was bound to be rational.

If Buddha had lived at another time in history, in a part of the world that was not against mysticism, he would have been seen as a great mystic, not as an intellectual. The face that is known belongs to the history of a particular time. As I see Buddha, he was not primarily rational. The whole concept of nirvana is mystical.

He was even more mystical than the Upanishads, because the Upanishads, however mystical they look, have their own rationality. They talk about the transmigration of the Soul. Bhagavan Buddha talked about transmigration without a Soul. It is more mystical.

Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “The Upanishads talk about liberation, but you will be there. Otherwise, the whole thing becomes nonsense. If I cannot be in that ultimate state of existence, then the whole effort is useless, illogical. Buddha said the effort is to be done – and you will not be there. It will just be nothingness. The concept is more mystical.

Tibetan and Chinese Buddhists who say that there are many Buddhas living in spirit bodies and helping our earth from the spiritual world are still in the sphere of religious illusion, not the ultimate truth. Their statements are wrong. Every sage realizes that the only way to help mankind is to come down amongst them, for which he must necessarily take on flesh-body. When people are suffering how can he relieve their suffering unless he appears amongst them? When people are suffering how can he feed them from an unseen world whether their struggle is for material bread or for spiritual truth? No! He must be here actually in the flesh. It is impossible to help them in any other way and all talk of Lord Shiva living on Mount Kailas in a spiritual body or Bhagavan Buddha in Nirmanakaya, invisible body belongs to the realm of delusion or Self-deception.

Bhagavan Buddha's teachings that all life is misery belong to the relative standpoint only. For you cannot form any idea of misery without contrasting it with its opposite, happiness. The two will always go together. Buddha taught the goal of cessation of misery, i.e. peace, but took care not to discuss the ultimate standpoint for then he would have had to go above the heads of the people and tell them that misery itself was only an idea, that peace even was an idea (for it contrasted with peacelessness). That the doctrine he gave out was a limited one, is evident because he inculcated compassion. Why should a Buddhist sage practice pity? There is no reason for it.

Advaita is the next step higher than Buddhism because it gives the missing reason, viz. unity, non-difference from others, and because it explains that it used the concept of removing the sufferings of others, of lifting them up to happiness, only as we use one thorn to pick out another, afterward throw both away. Similarly, Advaita discards both concepts of misery and happiness from the ultimate standpoint of non-duality, which is indescribable.

Buddhists say that a thing exists only for a moment, and if that thing has still got some of the substance from which it was produced how then can they deny that its cause is continuing in the effect; hence its existence is more than a moment. Vedanta is concerned with whether it is one and the same thing which has come into being or has it come out of nothing.
Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.
Dalai Lama said: ~ Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali Lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulburga)
Bhagavan Buddha meant when he said the Self, did not exist, that the physical self alone did not exist.

 Atman:  real self. (Soul)

Jiva: physical self. (Ego)

Bhagavan Buddha said emptiness. Emptiness means the nature of the Soul, the fullness of the consciousness without the form, time, and space.

Bhagavan Buddha referred to the emptiness as "where thinking fails to attain", where words fail. All that you can say is there “No two". That is Advaita.

Sunyavadins (Buddhists) say that Buddha taught void, and because Buddha went through Idealism, he is called Idealist. Not so. Buddha cannot be pinned down. Buddha himself does not commit himself but says it is beyond words.

Bhagavan Buddha kept silent, refusing to answer questions on the ultimate. Therefore, he was the wisest man in refusing to commit himself.

Remember:~

Reincarnation was not a Vedic belief. Belief in reincarnation which is central to Hinduism of today is not really attested to in the Vedas, though they hint at life after death. The doctrine of transmigration as elaborated in Hinduism has no place in the Vedic hymns”. In the early Vedic literature, there is no express mention of the doctrine of transmigration.

In the early Vedic literature, there is no express mention of the doctrine of transmigration. In the entire Rig Veda consisting of about 10,500 verses ― there is only one occasion where there is mention of a return to this world after death. What is implied here is that it cannot be taken as important teaching of the Rig Veda.

Reincarnation was not a Vedic belief. Belief in reincarnation which is central to Hinduism of today is not really attested to in the Vedas though they hint at life after death. The doctrine of transmigration as elaborated in Hinduism has no place in the Vedic hymns”.

It is in the Upanishads that it appears for the first time. The Rig Veda speaks of two paths for the Souls of the deceased, namely, the path of the God s (devayana) and the path of the fathers (pitriyana). Those who go by the former enjoy immortality and there is no return to physical life after that.

In fact, the Vedic man longed for this state of life. Whereas those who go by the latter path, unite with the fathers and then return to earth, after having enjoyed the fruits of his deeds.

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted the duality as reality.

People who believe in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that their belief is based on the waking entity, which is the false self within the false experience. The waking entity itself is false Self within the false experience, it means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is a falsehood.

Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood because the Soul, the innermost Self is birthless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Therefore, the rebirth and reincarnation theory based on the false Self is bound to be a falsehood because the birth and death take place domain of the form, time, and space whereas the 'Self is birthless and deathless.

The one, which is born, lives, and dies in the world, is not the Self. When the world itself is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form the consciousness then the birth and rebirth happening within the world are bound to be an illusion.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking experiences themselves are an illusion. It means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion. Thus, the reincarnation theory based on the false self within the false experience is bound to be a falsehood. When the waking entity is not the Self then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.

This imagined theory based on the waking entity or ego is for those lower mindset who are incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman.

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted the duality as reality. Birth implies duality, and the duality is falsehood from the ultimate standpoint.

DeeperSelf-search reveals the fact that the body is not the Self. Religion is based on the body as the Self because it speaks of birth, death, and rebirth whereas the 'Self' is birthless and deathless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Ignorance is the cause of experiencing birth, life, death, and the world as reality. Once the ignorance is dropped then one becomes aware ‘what is
the truth?‘, and what is the untruth?.

From the standpoint of the formless Soul, the innermost Self - There is no birth, No death, No world ~. This is the truth.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is neither birth nor death nor the world. From the non-dualistic perspective, the present birth itself is an illusion because the Soul, the innermost Self is birthless and deathless.

The one which born, lives, and dies in this world is not the Self. If the ‘Self’ is not the birth entity then whatever seen, known, believed and experience as a birth entity is bound to be an illusion. Thus, the reincarnation theory is based on the birth entity (you or ego), which is the false Self within the false experience (waking).

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, The world in which we exist is merely an illusion. If the world in which we exist is an illusion then the birth, life, death and rebirth, and reincarnation that happens within the illusory world is bound to be an illusion.

Accepting rebirth and reincarnation theory as reality is accepting false self (ego) as real Self and false experience (waking) as reality.

Self-realization is impossible if one accepts the present waking entity as the real Self because the Self is neither the waking entity nor the Self is the dream entity, but the Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

Remember:~

Dalai Lama said: ~ Buddhism need not be the best religion, though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama [Soul] and rebirth. Dali lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulburga).

Reincarnation is based on ignorance. Reincarnation is a religious fable based on the birth entity (ego). The experience of birth, life, death, and the world is a reality only on the dualistic perspective.

On the non-dualistic perspective, there is really no reincarnation at all, either now or before. Nor will there be any hereafter. This is the truth.

Religion propagated reincarnation happens to the individual Soul after the death of the body. Some claim that the Soul goes to heaven or hell while others claim that it is reincarnated in a new body.

Reincarnation theories are based on the imagination based on the birth entity. The birth entity is the false self within the illusory world (dualistic world). Religion is dualistic because religion holds s the experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality. Religion holds the Soul as an individual and the Soul is within the body. All the religious and yogic theories are based on the individual Self

On the non-dualistic perspective, the reincarnation theories collapse. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is no birth or death, no heaven or hell, and no reincarnation.

Religious people who are unable to assimilate the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space, think that reincarnation true. If one imagines on the base of the ego (birth entity) then he would imagine he would new body and a new life in the new world.

Once the one realizes the ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’ but ‘Self’ is the Soul then the ‘I’ cease to be a reality ceases and unreality of the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world is exposed. All theories about birth, life, death, the world, and reincarnation belong to the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Self is birthless, therefore, it is deathless. The one which is born lives and dies within the world (waking) is not the Self. The idea of reincarnation is based on the birth entity (waking entity or ego) which lives and dies within the illusory world (waking).

The Self is the one which witnesses the coming and going, of the dual (waking or dream) nondual (deep sleep) experiences. When the experience of birth, life, and death takes place in the illusion, then recantation also is part of the same illusion.

The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when the Soul, the Self, consciously remains awake in its formless non-dual nature. The substance and the witness of the three states are one in essence and that essence is consciousness. Then what value is there for the universe in, which the experience of birth, life, death, and reincarnation happen?

Even you take reincarnation as a reality, but reincarnation happens within the world, which is an illusion, from the standpoint of the unborn Soul, the Self.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the 'Self' the world in which we are born is merely an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara:-All names and forms are real when seen with the Brahman (Soul) but are false when seen independent of Brahman.+

Yoga Vasistha: ~ “Even as particles of sand floating in water settle down when the water is absolutely steady, the mind of the man who has gained the knowledge of truth settles down in total peace.

Yoga Vasistha: ~ “The sun and the worlds become non-objects of perception, to those who have gone beyond the realm of objective perception and knowledge, even as lamps lose their luminosity while the mid-day sun shines.

From the standpoint of the formless Soul, the ‘Self’, the effect is non-different from the cause. However, in the realm of duality cause is different from the effect. The non-difference of the effect from the cause has to be grasped perfectly to realize from the ultimate standpoint there is neither the cause nor the effect because the cause and effect are one, in essence. That essence is consciousness.

Sage Sankara says:~ If the cause is destroyed, the effect will no longer exist. For example, if from the effect, cotton cloth, the cause, threads, are removed, there will be no cloth, i.e., the cloth is destroyed. Similarly if in the effect, thread, the cause, cotton, is removed, there will be no thread, i.e., the thread is destroyed. (Brahmasūtra Bhashya, commentary on the Brahma-sutra- (9) 2.1.9)

Despite the non-difference of cause and effect, the effect has its ‘Self’ in the cause but not the cause in the effect. The effect is of the nature of the cause and not the cause, the nature of the effect. Therefore the qualities of the effect cannot touch the cause because the cause and effect are present only when the duality is present.

The duality is present only when there is an illusion. The illusion is there only when there is ignorance. When there is no ignorance then there is no illusion. When there is no illusion then there is no duality. When there is no duality then there is no cause and effect. When there is no cause and effect then there is the non-dualistic reality.

Sage Sankara says:~ During the time of its existence, one can easily grasp that the effect is not different from the cause. However that the cause is different from the effect that is not readily understood. As to this, it is not possible to separate cause from effect. But this is possible by imagining so. For example, the reflection of the gold ornament seen in the mirror is only the form of the ornament but is not the ornament itself as it (the reflection) has no gold in it at all. All names and forms are real when seen with the Brahman but are false when seen independent of Brahman (Soul). This way the seeker of truth establishes the non-difference of the effect from the cause.

In the context of Advaita Vedanta: ~ Jagat (the world) is not different from Brahman (Soul); however, Brahman (Soul) is different from Jagat.

It has not been possible to preach Advaitic Truth entirely free from the settings of dualistic weakness it has not been more operative and useful to mankind at large because only a few will be able to grasp and realize it.

'To realize the Advaitic Truth a freer and fuller scope the seeker has to realize the form, time and space are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness. And the Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is present in the form of consciousness.

To realize the Advaitic truth the seeker has to be free from all superstitions and orthodox contaminations. The seeker has to be dedicated to acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana alone.'

A Gnani will easily appreciate the high flights of Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is one of the 'most majestic structures and valuable products of the Genius of man in his search for Truth.

The ‘Self ‘ is not the ‘I’. the 'Self' is not within the body. The ‘Self is hidden by the ‘I’. the ‘I’ is ignorance. the ‘I’ is an illusion.

Remember:~

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes in order to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is Brahman or God in truth.

People think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to understand the fact that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

People are stuck with the reality of the ‘I’, which they take as real because some Gurus have propagated the Self is the ‘I’. is no need to convince such a mindset. The seeker of truth accepts only the truth nothing but the truth.

That is why Sage Sankara says: - VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus words. For them, their Gurus words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You have to discard the age-old belief that the Soul resides within the human body.+

The Soul does not reside in the human body. People think it is in the brain or forehead or Ajna chakra or the third eye but all these are imagination based on false self (ego) within the false experience (waking).

These body-based theories have no value on the Advaitic perspective. Such theories hold no water when the ‘Self’ is not the body. Your judgment has to be based on the ‘Self’, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

On the standpoint of the Soul, you and the world in which you exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~’ Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is real and eternal. The world in which we exist is an illusion created out of consciousness.

Scientists now concluded that you are not the brain (body). Consciousness requires the joint operation of the brain, body and the world. "You are not your brain. The brain, rather, is part of what you are.

The Biology of Consciousness by Alva Noë. Hill and Wang, 2009

Alva Noe, a University of California, Berkeley, philosopher, and cognitive scientist, argues that after decades of a concerted effort on the part of neuroscientists, psychologists, and philosophers "only one proposition about how the brain makes us conscious ... has emerged unchallenged: we don't have a clue." The reason we have been unable to explain the neural basis of consciousness, he says, is that it does not take place in the brain. Consciousness is not something that happens inside us but something we achieve it is more like dancing than it is like the digestive process. To understand consciousness the fact that we think and feel and that the world shows up for us we need to look at a larger system in which the brain is only one element. Consciousness requires the joint operation of the brain, body and the world. "You are not your brain. The brain, rather, is part of what you are."

Thus, science is going in the right direction in its invention and one day it will declare that everything is consciousness, which Sage Sankara declared 1200 years back ~ everything is Atman- because Atman is in the form of consciousness.

Thus, you have to discard the age-old belief that the Soul resides within the human body. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is not the path of exchange of views or discussion. Grasping the truth depends on the spiritual maturity of the seeker.+

Advaita is not the path of exchange of views or discussion. The seeker has to read think deeply and reflect on the subject constantly until the truth becomes firm. When the seeker has a firm conviction of what is reality then the unreality fades on its own. Everyone’s inner work is on.

Until a man is ripe to receive Self-knowledge, he will not be able to understand what I am saying.

Even they may find it difficult in the first as they go on reading and reflecting repeatedly the post their subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Grasping the truth depends on the spiritual maturity of the seeker. My mission is to share the knowledge by inspires the serious and sincere seekers of truth and divert their attention towards the inward reality.

As their urge is at the seed level and as they go on reading the understanding it will start growing. “It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space Self-knowledge is not a questioning and answer session.

As the seeker digs into old and new posts, he will gradually start understanding and assimilating the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. It is a waste of time to spend time in discussion. all my posts blogs help you to get rid of the ignorance.

If the Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul then from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self then: ~

Where is the ‘I’?

Where is the ego?

Where is the body?

Where is the mind?

Where is the world in which you exist?

Where are the form, time, and space?

Where is the waking experience?

Where is the duality?

Where is void?

They are or have become one with the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present. The mind is present only when the world is present. The world is present only when there is a waking experience. Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience is not considered different from the world. The world is not considered different from the mind. The mind is not considered different from the’ I’. This truth has to be assimilated.

The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. ‘I’ is not the subject. The ‘I’ is an object to the Soul, which is the formless, timeless, and spaceless subject.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the world in which you exist is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then three states, are bound to be an illusion. If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the form, time, and space are bound to be an illusion.

If the 'I’ is an illusion then the individual experience of birth, life, death is bound to be an illusion.

If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the words and thoughts are bound to be an illusion. If the ‘I’ is an illusion then the duality is bound to be an illusion.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes in order to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

Advaita is not any type of teaching. There no need for a Guru. Just drop all your accumulated knowledge and start afresh.+

Read, reflect, and reason, and realize. There is no need to discuss this. By discussing you will not be able to get rid of ignorance. Advaita is not any type of teaching. There no need for a teacher. Just drop all your accumulated knowledge and start afresh. All your accumulated knowledge is mental garbage.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

Advaita is not any type of teaching. There is no need for the teacher. All the guru propagated knowledge is not Gnana. All guru propagated knowledge is meant for the ignorant populace. If you are stuck up with religion and yoga you are unfit to tread the Atmic path.

If you are seeking the truth of true existence then you must set yourself free of religious background and cultures, of all accumulated knowledge should be discarded.

The seeker has to have the courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth because most people will not be able to subscribe to the path of truth because they sentimentally and emotionally involved with their inherited belief system and even if one does he has to overcome all his doubts, confusion, and despair. These are problems for the seekers who are from a religious background because of their conditioning and they are made to accept their blind belief as truth and their interest or insight is not deep.

Thus, all my blogs are useful in analyzing these problems because they highlight what is not true according to their own religious scriptures and make them accept the truth and reject all the false conditioning and move ahead in the pursuit of truth.

The religious and yogic paths are not the Gnanic path or the Atmic path. Never mix religious and yogic ideas in the Atmic path.

Guru & disciple concept is meant for the religious and yogic path. In the Atmic path, the Guru and disciple concepts have no value.

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and lives like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with fellow seekers.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.

The Gurus, yogis identifying themselves with their body and sense-organs which are illusory.

The Guru and disciple and the world in which Guru and disciple exist are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth of Brahman or God in truth.

By identifying as a Guru or some Guru’s disciple keeps one in the cage of ignorance. A person who identifies himself as a Guru or disciple will never be able to get Advaitic Gnana.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

The truth-seeker seeks only the truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core. Sincere and serious seekers are not excluded.

All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality. All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.

Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)

All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality. All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)

Thus, the above passage proves that all those who were the sanyasin robes are wearing it for the sake of bread belongs to the religion; they are nothing to do with the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

There is no need to criticize and condemn the Gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of ignorant masses in the dualistic world.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ Then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Yogis and Guru s are not Gods.

This idea of worshiping Guru as God is not a Vedic idea but adopted from Jainism and Buddhism.

Vedas bars human worship: ~

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.":~ (Yajurveda 40:9.)

Then why worship and glorify the Gurus and Yogis (human form) in place of God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.

No one has ever seen God by practicing religion or yoga or indulging in glorifying the religious God and Goddesses because God exists prior to the form, time, and space. The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is real God. Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.

By worshipping the religious Gods and Gurus one will not get Self-realization or God-realization.

The Soul, the inner Guru revels ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.+

Dalai Lama said: Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulbarga)
All the Buddhist theories of reincarnation are based on the birth entity, which is the false self within the illusory world. Buddhists who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for acquiring the Advaitic or nondualistic wisdom. When Buddhist does not believe in the Soul but believe in reincarnation then what is it that reincarnates without the Soul?
Buddhist who believes in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that all their theories and philosophy are egocentric therefore Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama [Soul] and rebirth.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self the birth, life, death, rebirth, and reincarnation theory is part of the dualistic illusion.
Your body cannot reincarnate because it is insentient.
Even in Buddhism: ~ Buddhist teaching has itself become a kind of interactive and Self-evolving process, much like its idea of pratityasamutpada. However, the end goal is still Nirvana, which is an experience ultimately beyond all concepts and language, even beyond the Buddhist teachings. In the end, even the attachment to the Dharma, the Buddhist teaching, must be dropped like all other attachments. The tradition compares the teaching to a raft upon which one crosses a swift river to get to the other side; once one is on the far shore; there is no longer any need to carry the raft. The far shore is Nirvana, and it is also said that when one arrives, one can see quite clearly that there was never any river at all.
Buddhism and its relationship with Science are like that of water and wine, one cannot say there is no water in wine, but when you drink it, it would not be the water but wine... thus Einstein’s view is water in the wine because modern science does not believe in the matter but in this religion, everything is the matter only"

Emptiness is the nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Emptiness is the fullness of consciousness without the division of form, time, and space.

Remember:~

Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood, because the Soul, the ‘Self’ is birthless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Therefore, the rebirth and reincarnation theory based on the false self’ is bound to be a falsehood.

People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted duality as reality. Birth implies duality and the duality is falsehood from the ultimate standpoint.

Accepting rebirth and reincarnation theory as reality is accepting false ‘Self’ (waking entity or ego) as real ‘Self’ and false experience (waking) as reality.

Self-realization is an impossibility if one accepts the present waking entity as real ‘Self’ because the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the ‘Self’ is dream entity, but the ‘Self’ is formless Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states without the physical apparatus.

This imagined theory based on the waking entity (ego) is for that lower mindset which is incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Deeper Self-search reveals the facts that, the waking experience itself, is an illusion. It means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.

Thus the reincarnation theory based on the false self within the false experience is bound to be a falsehood. When the waking entity is not the ‘Self’ then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.

Remember:~

As one goes deeper investigation into the annals of the religious history he realizes the fact that Hinduism, as we know it today, is of recent origin.

Hinduism did not really achieve its status as a coherent, though still baffling, religious complex until after the establishment of British rule.

In discussing the Vedic religion it is also to be remembered that in the course of history, many non-Vedic elements entered into the Vedic religion. The Vedantic freely borrowed elements from the culture and the society around them.  Thus, Hinduism is full of non-Vedic elements. The Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is nothing to do with present-day Hinduism is full of diverse faith, belief, caste, and creed.

Reincarnation
People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted the duality as reality
People who believe in reincarnation and rebirth theories are unaware of the fact that their belief is based on the waking entity, which is the false self within the false experience. The waking entity itself is false Self within the false experience, it means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is a falsehood.
Whatever is seen, known, believed, and experienced as the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood, because, the Soul, the innermost Self is birthless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Therefore, the rebirth and reincarnation theory based on the false Self is bound to be a falsehood because the birth and death take place domain of the form, time, and space whereas the 'Self is birthless and deathless.
The one, which is born, lives, and dies in the world, is not the Self. When the world itself is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form the consciousness then the birth and rebirth happening within the world is bound to be an illusion.
A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking experience itself is an illusion. It means the present experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion. Thus, the reincarnation theory based on the false self within the false experience is bound to be a falsehood. When the waking entity is not the Self then whatever theories are based on the waking entity imagined theory.
This imagined theory based on the waking entity or ego is for the lower mindset who are incapable of grasping the ultimate truth or Brahman.
People who are caught up with the idea of reincarnation and rebirth theories are not qualified for Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they accepted the duality as reality. Birth implies duality, and the duality is falsehood from the ultimate standpoint.

On the standpoint of the Soul, the  Self: ~
There is no birth, No death, No world ~. This is the truth because the Soul, the Self is unborn eternal.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, there is neither birth nor death nor the world.
On the non-dualistic perspective, the present birth itself is an illusion, because, the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless.
Avatar takes place within the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Self-realization is impossible if one accepts the present waking entity as the real Self because the Self is neither the waking entity nor the Self is the dream entity, but the Self is formless Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
