You, your body, and the world appear together and disappear together. It is impossible to separate you from the world in which you exist.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.

The world in which you are born, living, and going to die is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Sage Sankara says ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads to Self-awareness

Remember:~

Until you give up the idea of individuality and the world is apart from you. It is impossible to realize the ‘Self’’ because the Self is not you but the ‘Self’ is the formless, timeless, and spaceless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

You and the world coexist together and disappear together. Until you think the world is separate from you, it becomes impossible to understand, assimilate, and realize the 'Self, ’ which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Thus, you have to renounce the idea that you are an individual separate from the world, to realize the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. And that clay is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
