If you realize the universe is an illusion then you must include yourself as part of the illusory universes.

The real Self is the Soul hidden by the illusory universe because the Soul or consciousness is the cause of the illusory universe. The universe arises from the Soul like bubbles from the sea.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the object (three states), observed, and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, he sees the world in which he exists as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness (subject). Thus, all the objective observation has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Consciousness permeates everything and everywhere in all three states. The consciousness illumines the whole universe that includes the Sun, Moon, and the whole galaxy.

Consciousness pervades the entire universe outwardly and shines of itself, as the fire that permeates a red-hot iron ball both inwardly and outwardly shines of itself. There exists nothing that is not consciousness.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

Sage Sankara said: ~A.A-88- When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘what is the Mind? it impossible to get Self- realization. The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

Remember:~

Rest in consciousness by realizing the universe is nothing but consciousness. The Soul is the fullness of consciousness without division of the form, time, and space. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

The person who bases on birth, life, death and the world is trying to find the meaning of life. There is no meaning or purpose of life because life is merely happening within the dualistic illusion (world).

Thus, the karma based on the physical entity is based on the birth, life, and death, which is part and parcel of the dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
