‘I’ or 'I AM’ is an illusory expression of the Soul. Holding the Self’ as the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ is holding the illusion as reality.+

Many spiritual masters say that sticking to "I AM" is way out from the physical shackles. But that "I AM" itself’ is creates the prison to the Soul, the Self.
By thinking repeatedly, ‘I AM THAT’ the wisdom will not dawn. The thought, ‘I AM’ is the bondage. The thought, ‘I AM’ is the dualistic prison’. The thought ‘I AM’ is the cause of ignorance.
‘I’ AM ‘indicates the ‘Self’ as being limited to the physical body. When this delusion ‘I AM’ is destroyed by realizing the Self is not the ‘I or ‘I AM’.
The one, which expresses itself’ as 'I', is not 'I' but it is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. The Soul is prior to the appearance of the ‘I’. The ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the witness of the ‘I’.
Remember, the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ is not the ‘Self’. Considering the ‘I’ or ‘I AM as the ‘Self’ is an error.
The Soul, the ‘Self’, which is in the form of consciousness cannot be called anything nor approached because it is prior to anything that exists.
The Soul or the consciousness is the substance of the whole universe with all contents.
The thoughts and words are part of the dualistic illusion. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is not a thing or entity or identity within the universe. The Soul is the fullness of the consciousness without the illusory division of the form, time, and space.
Remember this: ~ ‘I’ or 'I AM’ is an illusory expression of the Soul. Holding the Self’ as the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ is holding the illusion as reality.
The mind ceases to exist without the ‘I’.
The mind ceases to exist without form, time, and space.
The mind ceases to exist without the universe.
The mind ceases to exist without waking or the dream.
The mind ceases to exist without the individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world.
The mind ceases to exist without the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
But
The Soul, the Self can exist with or without the ‘I’
The Soul, the Self can exist without the mind.
The Soul, the Self can exist without the universe
The Soul, the Self can exist without waking or the dream
The Soul, the Self can exist without the individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world.
The Soul, the Self can exist without the dualistic illusion.
The consciousness pervades everywhere and in everything in the universe, which is the dualistic illusion.
The existence of the Soul, the ‘Self’ which is hidden by the ‘I’ has to be mentally grasped and assimilated.
The ‘Self’ is the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’.
Unless the ‘I AM is present the world in which we exist prevails as a reality.
The thoughts of liberation and bondage will remain. So long one thinks the Self as “I AM”.
Wisdom dawns when you realize the ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ Is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Giving up one physical identity such as ‘I AM’ and replacing it with ‘I AM THAT, will not get to the root of the problem of false identification.
By thinking, ‘I am self-realized is only an imagination. In the realm of truth, there is no scope for such imagination. The seeker has to transcend the dualistic illusion in order to enter the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
Only through self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana free the Soul, the Self from experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is no higher or lower consciousness. Consciousness is one without the second.+

Max Planck ~Father of quantum physics says: ~ Science has no answer to it. Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are part of the mystery that we are trying to solve.

Until the scientists become the seeker of truth of their existence, the truth will not reveal. The truth of the whole cannot be got under the microscope.

When all their invention fails to yield the truth, they have to use their reason to reach the ultimate core of their existence
.
The man who possesses the highest intellect can grasp Advaita, by merely hearing the truth mentioned will know it.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Reason as a means to reality. (Chap.18 verse 37)

In chap. 10 of in Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says: ~ I cannot save you, but I can give you Buddhi (reason). (chap. 10)

In chap. 10 of in Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says: ~ "I have given you the most secret teaching, now reflect over it all" Krishna plainly says reflect, think. (Verse 63 of Chap. 18)

Manduka Upanishad says: ~ Both states are harmful and take you away from the path of inquiry into truth. (Page 234)

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ It is not the absence of Buddhi (Reason) that can grasp Advaita but the man who possesses the highest intellect. Brains are necessary. Such a man, by merely hearing the truth mentioned will know it. (Page~ 224): Santthosh Kumaar

Remember:~
There is no higher or lower consciousness. Consciousness is one without the second. The consciousness is the cause of the world in which we exist. The consciousness is everything. Before the appearance of the world in which we exist, the world was the consciousness and after the disappearance of the world in which we exist, the world becomes one with consciousness. Whatever appeared and disappeared as the world, in which we exist, is nothing but an illusion created out of the consciousness.
The illusion and has no value because the illusion is also nothing but consciousness.
Only on the dualistic perspective, there is higher and lower consciousness. On the nondualistic perspective, consciousness alone is.
Both modern science and religion offer hypotheses and theories but there is one vital difference--science begins with facts which it collects; religion begins with fancies. Science evolves its hypotheses from such facts, religion from fancies.
Science declares that oxygen combines with hydrogen to give water. And it also declares oxygen is protons or electrons. But in pursuit of truth, the whole physical existence (universe or mind) is considered as illusion and science and their inventions, which are based on the physical existence is limited to physical existence. The truth is within but it is beyond the physical existence. The science demands physical proof. But the physical proof is part of the illusion. Hence science cannot go beyond physicality because the truth cannot be traced to laboratory conditions. Deeper Inquiry, analysis, and reasoning are required if one wants to push its quest deeply enough.
Science has begun to admit that the world of the spirit and the world of matter are not two antipodes... A leading British astronomer, Sir James Jeans, confessed that the scientific conception of the universe in the past was mistaken and that the borderline between the objective world, as it is manifested in nature, and the subjective one, as it expresses itself through the mind, hardly exists. In [a 1934 address at Cornell University], he said: “The Nature we study does not consist so much of something we perceive as of our perceptions, it is not the object ... but the relation itself. There is, in fact, no clear-cut division between the subject and object.” Twenty years earlier, such a statement would have been sheer heresy. Likewise, a search for the Ultimate Reality that we usually call "God," a search along both intellectual and unorthodox lines, need not be regarded as either heresy or sacrilege.
People are still primitive thinking fall into faulty reasoning through their inherited conditioning, such faulty thinking and reasoning make them accept the experience of birth, life, and death as a reality, taking what one sees through the senses as real, taking what is apparently obvious and superficial as true because it is less troublesome.
Many people adopt the attitude that what they know is the truth. And what others say is false. This attitude makes them not to verify anything other than what they know. One needs to be rational, not merely logical. Logic has its value only on the physical plane.
As one advances towards the spiritual plane he sees the truth underlying experience and becomes more rational. His reasoning is two-fold ~ dualistic and nondualistic. He uses dualistic Reason for the practical purposes and the nondualistic reason for the spiritual pursuit. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Ancient peoples of India followers of Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.Hinduism did not exist in Vedic era.+

Ancient peoples of India followers of Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. Hinduism did not exist in the Vedic era. Hinduism does not have a long ancestry as is often presumed or propagated by the Hindu ideologues. In fact, historically, religions like Buddhism and Jainism can claim greater antiquity than the Hinduism of today. Hinduism began to take a systematic form from the time of Sage Sri, Sankara (8thcentury A.D). In this sense, he may be considered as the ‘founder’ of Hinduism.
Thus, Hinduism came into existence with its own code of conduct beliefs, rituals after the 8th century. Hinduism as one knows today is of recent origin. He states: “Hinduism did not really achieve its status as a coherent, though still baffling, religious complex until after the establishment of the British rule in India.
In discussing the Vedic religion it is also to be remembered that in the course of history, many non-Aryan elements entered into the Vedic religion. The Vedic Aryans freely borrowed elements from the culture and the society around them. But we cannot say with precision, which are the non-Aryan elements in the Vedic religion. Therefore, the thesis of the direct ancestry of Hinduism of today from Vedic religion is to be considered as a myth purported by orthodoxy.
Sage Sri Sankara endeavored towards establishing Vedic religion overthrowing Buddhism. But even he was not able to avoid the influence of Buddhism. The influence of the revolutionary atmosphere of Buddhism has reappeared in the Advaitic Sage Sri, Sankara. His inability to revive Vedic religion that flourished before the Buddhist revolution in its pure form is discernible.
Santana Dharma meaning that it has no beginning or an end, righteousness forever.
Swami Vivekananda says:~ The word Hindu is a misnomer; the correct word should be a Vedantins, a person who follows the Vedas.
In Encyclopaedia Britannica it says:~ The word Hinduism was first used by the British writers in the year 1830 to describe the multiplicity of the faiths of the people of India excluding the converted Christians. (Volume -20, Reference -581)
Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru:~ The word Hindu can be earliest traced to a source a tantric in the 8th century and it was used initially to describe the people, it was never used to describe religion. (The discovery of India” on page -74 and -75)
According to Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, Its connection with religion is of late occurrence. The word Hinduism is derived from the word Hindu.
The word Hinduism was first used by the English writers in the 19th century to describe the multiplicity of faiths of the people of India.
In the year 1794 A.D. Sir William Jones, the European chief justice of the then-Supreme Court of India at Calcutta, coined the new term Hinduism for the caste discriminating principle of Varnashrama Dharma originated on the basis of Manu Dharma Śāstra.
It is a well-known fact that the Vedic people not only did not identify themselves Hindus but also did not possess the essential characteristics of Hinduism. However, in order to legitimize the antiquity of Hinduism, Maharishi Sri, and Dayananda Saraswati (1824-1883) founder of Arya Samaj insisted on ‘going back to the Vedas’.
Maharishi Dayananda Saraswati founder of Arya Samaj was the first thinker and reformer to emphasize the importance of ‘going back to the Vedas’ in order to bring about social reforms in society and to purify Hinduism of its many aberrations. Hinduism is ‘Puranic based’. Vedic God s like Indra, Varuna, Agni, Soma and the like, whom the Vedic people worshiped, hardly have any significance in Hinduism
Supreme Court of India:~ Hinduism, as a religion, incorporates all forms of belief without mandating the selection or elimination of any one single belief,“ It is a religion that has no single founder, no single scripture and no single set of teachings. It has been described as Santana Dharma, namely, eternal faith, as it is the collective wisdom and inspiration of the centuries that Hinduism seeks to preach and propagate,” - Hinduism has no single founder or scripture: ~ SC, The Times of India (Delhi) Dec 17, 2015
Remember:~
Aryans were an ancient people who originally inhabited Central Asia and later migrated southwards to the regions stretching from Iran to northwest India. These early Aryans had a similar language, race, culture, and religion with many variations. The Aryans influenced by the Dravidic-culture and in later centuries other peoples also invaded and migrated to India bringing other influences and mixing many cultures' ideology and beliefs.
Ancient peoples of India belong to the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma, therefore, they have nothing to do with the present-day Hinduism. The ancient peoples of Indus Valley or undivided India called Hindus by Muslim Invaders.
Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is not Hinduism.
The word Hindu came originated from the word Sindhu which is another name for the river Indus. Maybe people who stayed along the Sindhu (Indus) valley came to be known as Hindus.
An exact date of the birth of Santana Dharma cannot be given. They say that Santana Dharma is as old as planet earth. Some claims it is 5000 to 7000 years old Ancient India consisted of indigenous people.
Aryans, Dravidians, Jews, Christian, and Muslims have invaded India and all ingenious people were converted to different faith from time to time. Thus, Hinduism is a group of different caste, creed, and faith.
The Hindus believed in polytheism, believing all of their God s to be separate individuals, which were introduced much later by the founders of Hinduism which contains diverse beliefs caste and creed. Going to a temple would make one a follower of Hinduism.
The term ‘Hindu’ is originally a geographical nomenclature. In the Arabic texts where the term ‘Hindu’ is initially used, refers to the inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent, the land across the Sindhu or Indus River. Al-Hind was, therefore, a geographical identity, and the Hindus were all the people who lived on this land.
Thus, the term ‘Hindu’ was used to describe those who professed a religion other than Islam and Christianity. It is also noteworthy that the use of the word ‘Hindu’ in non-Islamic sources is known probably only from the 15TH century A.D.
The term ‘Hindu’ became a term of administrative convenience when the rulers of Arab, Turkish, Afghan and Mughal origin ~ all Muslims ~ had to differentiate between ‘the believers’ and the rest.
Aurobindo (1872-1950) believed that the Vedas are the foundation of the Santana Dharma.
Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is distinct from Hinduism. The Vedic religion or Santana Dharma deserves to be treated on its own as a distinct religion with its own sacred texts, rites, rules of social life, beliefs and practices without interlinking it with Hinduism. Perhaps it is right to maintain that the Mimamsa School which is concerned with the investigation of the Vedic texts, their correct interpretation and the meticulous performance of the Vedic rituals and ceremonies has preserved and defended a part of the heritage of the Vedic tradition.
The Vedanta school also may have received a part of the inspiration from the Vedas. For the rest of the Hindu philosophical schools and religious sects, the influence of the Vedas is nominal. However, in as much as elements from the Vedas have influenced some aspects of Hinduism, it may be considered as one of the many factors influencing Hinduism.
But by no means can it be maintained that Hinduism has its direct ancestry in the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. Therefore, Hinduism of Vedic times is an imagined community. Hinduism is of a much later origin, and a historical view of Indian religions would endorse a dichotomy between Vedic religion or Santana Dharma and contemporary Hinduism. :~Santthosh Kumaar

God cannot be seen directly by anyone because God is ever nondual.+

Brahman or God is  Spirit.  Idolized Gods are not God in truth because God in truth is a formless, timeless and spaceless existence. God cannot be seen directly by anyone because God is ever nondual. God pervades everything and everywhere in the universe.
People who say they have seen GOD are hallucinating. Moreover,  they are cheating themselves because they have not examined what they have seen is really GOD. When the world in which they exist itself is a dualistic illusion then whatever they have seen within the dualistic illusion is bound to be an illusion.
The GOD is not an individual because the GOD is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence. Thus, people's claim of seeing and communing with GOD is merely a hallucination. They may be perfectly sane in other respects. People who say they have seen and communed with God, for none, can refute them. Hence, their privileged position in getting away with the hallucinated nonsense.
Vedas say: God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, personal Gods do not find any support from the Vedas.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ “It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from Vedas
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
In Vedas, God has been described as: ~
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ “It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Yajur Veda indicates that: ~
They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example,  table, chair, idol, etc (Yajurveda 40:9)
Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Bhagavad Gita: ~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance, they blindly follow religion and religious propagated Gods based on blind belief or faith.+

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance, they blindly follow religion and religious propagated Gods based on blind belief or faith.
The person, who starts an exposition by bringing in religious Gods, is trying to force on others something which he believed as truth or something, which he has simply assumed.
An assumption is something that is not in itself true but is assumed to be true.
How does one know that his idea of God corresponds to God?
Philosophic doubt is needed. Every dream and vision must be tested if it is true.
The Yogi thinks that by getting to Nirvikalpa Samadhi he reaches the highest; the religious man thinks that by getting God’s vision he reaches the highest, but how do they know it is the highest?
Judgment should be suspended until all facts are obtained. One should be cautious; he might get an intuitional flash, but even then he should wait and confirm.
Lack of evidence against doctrine is no reason for believing it. The seeker of truth must stick to reason, not the fallacy of authoritarianism.
It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize the Atman is real God.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.
Thus, it refers to formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman (Soul), the innermost ‘Self’ within the false experience. Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false ‘Self’. Thus Atman or Soul, the innermost ‘Self’ is God.
The Vedas do not talk about idol worship. In fact, till about 2000 years ago followers of Vedism never worshiped idols. Idol worship was started by the followers of Buddhism and Jains. There is logic to idol worship. Vedas speak of one God that is the supreme ‘Self’ in i.e. Atman or Soul but Hinduism indulges in worshiping 60 million Gods.
It indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false ‘Self’.
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like, a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
A great majority of Hindus are not in contact with their religious history therefore, they believe their inherited beliefs as the ultimate truth.
Hinduism is not the Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma. And all Hindus indulge in non-Vedic practice barred by the Vedas introduced by the different founders of the different sects of Hinduism at a different time, whereas the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma is ancient and has no founder. Thus to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the seeker has to realize his inherited religion is adulterated in the past and it becomes a great obstacle is realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
While they do not except the texts past the Vedas, they are still monists and uphold other Hindu views. In their reformations, they rejected Brahminical control and they are open to all castes and women.
Hinduism is based on myths and thus people of Indian are unaware of the facts of their inherited religious history. The Vedic Culture and Vedas are complete in themselves but Hinduism which is a non-Vedic belief system with all rituals and conduct oriented practices has been contributed largely by the orthodox priests to suit their convenience!
Supreme Court of India:~ Hinduism, as a religion, incorporates all forms of belief without mandating the selection or elimination of any one single belief,“ It is a religion that has no single founder, no single scripture and no single set of teachings. It has been described as Santana Dharma, namely, eternal faith, as it is the collective wisdom and inspiration of the centuries that Hinduism seeks to preach and propagate,” - Hinduism has no single founder or scripture: SC, The Times of India (Delhi) Dec 17, 2015
Hindus are idol worshipers of a large number of Gods and Goddesses whereas in Vedas the God has been described as:-
Max Müller says: ~ "The religion of the Veda knows no idols; the worship of idols in India is a secondary formation, a degradation of the more primitive worship of ideal Gods."
In Vedas, God has been described as:~
In Yajur Veda – chapter- 32:~ God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
The Vedas as a body of scripture contains many contradictions and they are fragmentary in nature. For Hindus, scriptures like the Bhagavad-Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas are more attractive and appealing than the Vedas. And also, the Gods and Goddesses they worship differ considerably from the Vedic ones. The collection of hymns called Vedas are written in praise of certain deities by poets over several centuries does not seem to have much significance for the Hindus
Yajur Veda says:~
Translation 1
They enter darkness, those who worship natural things (for example air, water, sun, moon, animals, fire, stone, etc).
They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc.) (Yajurveda 40:9)
Translation 2
"Deep into the shade of blinding gloom fall asambhuti's worshippers. They sink to darkness deeper yet who on sambhuti are intent." (Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Griffith pg. 538)
Translation 3
"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
So, Yajur Veda indicates that:~
They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti.
Then why to worship and glorify the non-~Vedic Gods in place of Vedic God when Veda bars such activities and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.
God exists prior to the form, time, and space. The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is God in truth. Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.
By worshipping the religious Gods and Gurus one will not get Self-realization or God-realization.
The Soul, the inner Guru reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
The Upanishad says: ~ 'The human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana and they indicate the personal gods, scriptures, worship, and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, then why anyone should indulge in it. The religion, concept of individualized god and scriptures are the greatest obstacle to realizing non-dual truth or Self-realization because they are based on false Self. The seeker of truth has to search the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper, inquiry, analysis and reasoning and assimilate and realize it.
That is why Sage Sri Sankara, indicated in Bhaja Govindam says: ~ “One without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.
Then it is no use going a roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance and the witness of the universe. The universe is present in the form of mind. By tracing the source of the mind (universe) one will be able to realize the Brahman or God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “No one can teach anybody. The teacher spoils everything by thinking that he is teaching.+

Swami Vivekananda: ~ Oneness is the secret of Everything. Oneness means Advaita.

Lord Krishna people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence Advaitic wisdom got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret.

Sage Sri, Sankara said: ~ Liberation will never come without realizing the Oneness.

Oneness is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Oneness means Advaita or nonduality. When the universe appears, the duality appears. When there is duality then there is no Oneness. When there is Oneness there is no duality.

Intellectual knowledge of Advaita is based on the dualistic perspective. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is based on the nondualistic perspective.
Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You see, no one can teach anybody. The teacher spoils everything by thinking that he is teaching. Thus Vedanta says that within man is all knowledge? Even in a boy, it is so? And it requires only an awakening, and that much is the work of a teacher. We have to do only so much for the boys that they may learn to apply their own intellect to the proper use of their hands, legs, ears, eyes, etc., and finally, everything will become easy.
The form, time and space cease to exist without the mind. The form, time and space appear together as mind (I) and disappear together when the mind disappears.
Space cannot exist without form and time.  The form, time and space appear together and disappear together. In reality, the form, time and space are one in essence that essence is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and the form, time and space are merely an illusion. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
There is no duality in reality. The reality is Advaita the one without the second.
The Self is not you. Whatever is based on you is an illusion. You are not the author because you are not the Self.  All the judgment has to base on the Soul not on the ego (you) to realize the form, time and space are one in essence.
How can you deny the Soul? The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs.

It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. The consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The Soul is not limited to an individual. The individuals are many but the Soul is one.  The individual exists within the universe.  The Soul is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused.  The Soul is not within the human body.  The universe is created out of single stuff.  That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, whatever universe contains is bound o be the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that you are not the Self, the world in which you exist is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, but consciousness is specifically not an entity or identity or a thing within the world in which you exist. But it is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused.
The Soul is hidden within the world in which you exist. The nature of the Soul is the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89)
Thus, it is necessary to realize the world in which you exist is created out single stuff, which is the consciousness. The consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Thus, God alone is real; the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
