There are so many Advaitic Gurus and Masters from the east and west but their wisdom is not Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom.+

People assume Guru are Godmen are great because other people say so, or that he is wise because he himself says so, or that what he teaches is true because it attracts them. Such an attitude and easy assumptions become obstacles to fold the truth and it requires some trouble to put into effect.

The Gurudom may succeed to a limited extent in the West by appealing to the emotions of western people by creating a new cult with diverse theories of Hinduism.   The ultimate truth is beyond religion, yoga, and scriptures.

People think by blind devotion and unquestioning obedience to Guru and by surrendering to Guru they get enlightenment.

They lose the independent thinking power, time, effort, and their hard-earned savings in the hope of realizing God. People are emotionally vulnerable and “brainwashed and psychologically seduced,” by the myth propagated by the belief system,

The seeker of truth must be “too smart” to ever fall into the trap of religious propagated myth.

The so-called enlightened Gurus who promise instant enlightenment for money are not Gnanis. The seeker of truth has to be very careful if he is seeking truth nothing but the truth.

Everyone pursuing or thinking of pursuing the path of wisdom need not fall into the trap of physical Guru.

Devotion to physical Guru is the devotional path not the path of wisdom. Religious people follow the path of Bhakti and the yogic path. The path of wisdom is only for those who are serious in their quest for truth. Without an intense urge, it is difficult to tread the path of wisdom.

So many scandals of the fake Gurus are exposed in recent times. The darker side of modern Gurudom of fake Gurus and yogis so embarrassing~ sometimes vicious or criminal~ reports which they prefer to hide.

Remember:~

It is time to free oneself from the prison of Gurudom and strive to acquire the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

Adyatma is nothing to do with religious sect or creed and religious belief. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.

Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth beyond the form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy and based the truth on the Athma it is Adyathma.

Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.

Remember:~

The ‘I-centric’ and ‘you-centric’ and accumulated knowledge from different Gurus are not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

The knowledge accumulated from intellectual spoon-feeding collected from the intellectual wise men is not the Advaitic wisdom. The persons who are propagating only half-truth as the absolute truth are playing emotions of the seeker with their skill of ornamental words. The seeker must unlearn what he has learned from all the Advaitic Gurus of the east and west start afresh, it is he is seriously seeking the truth, nothing but the truth.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in the ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

The people who are stuck with half-truth think they have already realized the truth and they try to snub others and expect to follow their own terms without realizing they have not yet completed the journey.

If one has understood what ‘truth ‘really is “then there is no necessity to know ‘Who am I? or ‘I am that’.

‘WHO AM I?’ or ‘I AM THAT’- reveal only half-truth because they are limited to individuality and reveals only the unreal nature of the ego.

The ego is individual whereas the ‘Soul’, the ‘Self’ is not an individual because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Thus, the journey is incomplete. The seeker has to go much deeper to know the full truth about the ‘Self', which is beyond form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory but it is only guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self. It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate it.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up criterion for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (nonduality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion. I am highlighting all the obstacles, which is blocking the seeker from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman. There are so many Advaitic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end because they are nothing to do with Sage Sankara Advaitic wisdom.

The seeker has to realize the Self is not ‘I’ or ‘you’ but the Soul and identify the Self as Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness to find liberation from the bondage of the illusory experience pf the birth, life, death, and world(duality). The human goal of life is to find and realize the ‘Self’ hidden by ignorance.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita”.

Advaita” is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of the existence hidden by the form, time, and space. The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of the reality by perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the dvaita. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, the hidden truth by dvaita uncovered. The consciousness is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
