Sage Sankara’:~ The whole objective world is non-real. Neither is the ego real, for it is seen to be momentary.+

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that universe by its very nature is illusory. the moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita. People never realize non-dualistic awareness through religion and yoga.

Self-awareness raises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality. 

Consciousness is the one single reality or Brahman. The individual self is a reality within the illusory universe or Maya.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which present in the form of consciousness. Nothing Matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.:

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth. 

The path of wisdom is divided into three parts:~

First:- hearing the truth--that the consciousness is the only reality and that the universe along with you merely an illusion or Maya. 

Second:- reasoning upon these words of wisdom of Sage Sankara from all points of view. 

Third:- giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. 

Philosophers have made philosophy very complicated with their excessive analysis.

Remember:~

You are being conditioned by the religious myth which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth. 

Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89)

Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created out of the consciousness through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the Soul, the innermost Self from the cage of the dualistic illusion.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in the ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Katha Upanishad says ~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Ch~ II-5 P-14)

The truth you are seeking will not reveal until you realize the Self is not you but the-the Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

The truth of the whole will not reveal by inquiring ‘WHO AM ‘I’? or thinking ‘I AM THAT.

 You must know what is this ‘I’ suppose to be to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’.

Bhagvad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

Nothing has to be accepted as truth till you obtain the uncontradictable truth. There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ cease to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I," If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Sage Sankara’:~ VC ~293 The whole objective world is non-real. Neither is the ego real, for it is seen to be momentary. How then can the apparent notion "I know all" be true when the ego etc., are themselves momentary?

294- But the real "Self" witnesses the ego etc. and is always there, even in deep sleep. "It is Unborn, Eternal," as the sruti itself says. It is the inmost Self, different from the (relative) truth and untruth.

295- That which is the Knower of all changes in all things which undergo change, must doubtless be Eternal and Changeless. Again and again, the unreality of the gross and the subtle bodies are clearly perceived in one‘s imagination, in dreams, and in the dreamless sleep.

296- Therefore, give up your identification with this mass of flesh and with the ego and the subtle body, which are imaginations of the mind. By realizing your own Self which is Absolute Knowledge, which cannot be negated in the three periods of time, attain to the State of Supreme Peace.

297- Renounce your identification with family, lineage, name, form, and order in life—attributes that pertain to the body which is like a foul corpse. So too, renounce your ideas of agency, etc., which are attributes of the subtle body. Thus, realize your true essence as the Absolute Bliss(Soul).

Sage Sankara says the transparent truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ Then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
