The five elements belong to the dualistic illusion or Maya. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the five elements are merely an illusion.+

The five elements are nothing to do with the Soul, the ‘Self’ because the five elements are mere an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The five elements are present in the domain of duality. The duality is merely an illusion. Thus, the five elements are bound to be an illusion.

If the five elements are mere an illusion it means the universe is merely an illusion. If the universe is merely an illusion it means the form, time and space are merely an illusion. If the form, time, and space are merely an illusion, then the experience of birth, life, death is merely an illusion.

If the form, time, and space are merely an illusion, then the experience of birth, life, death is merely an illusion.

The Soul, the Self” is neither five elements, nor any of the organs individually, nor all the elements or organs together as a whole.

The body and universe exist within the waking or dream. Thus the body and the universe are limited to waking or dream.

The Soul, the Self is hidden by the universe. the universe appears as waking or dream(duality) and disappears as deep sleep(nonduality).

The Soul is hidden by the waking or dream as their formless substance and it is without the waking or dream as their formless witness.

The Soul is present in consciousness. consciousness is hidden because the waking or dream is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Thus form, time, and space within waking or dreams have no value because the waking or dreams are merely an illusion created out of the consciousness.

The waking or dreams are impermanent whereas the Soul, the formless substance, and witness of the waking or dream are permanent.

The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. The waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. The wisdom dawn when the waking entity (ego or you) realizes the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the Self is dream entity but the Self is the Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.: ~Santthosh Kumaar
